FICTIONAL EXPRESSIONS: "IN THE NICK OF TIME"

JUST THINKING:

Rockets, bullets, grenades, OPDs were everywhere. Dead bodies littered the city and what remains of the city were debris. This is what usually happens in the times of war. We were at war with the enemies of our country.
The war was serious. There were attacks and counter attacks. But we stood our ground. We said, "This is our country and no persons can infiltrate our land to colonize us. We will give our last blood for our nation" .
We gave a good account of ourselves and fought gallantly. We even thought we had won the war at a time because of the heavy losses we inflicted on our enemies. Then, things changed. 
We saw bigger tankers, many footsoldiers with sophisticated weapons heading towards us. On our parts, we were running out of ammunition. They came heavily down on us. Many of us were killed. We were in our hole and we couldn't stand them. We got surrendered by them and they launched a heavy attack on us. 
The attack on us was very intense. From fifty, then to twenty, then to ten and now we are just four persons left against a large number of soldiers, weapons and tankers. 
I thought the end had come. "Is this how my life will end", I thought to myself. I thought of my father, my mother, my siblings and Richie my dog. 
The enemies were coming to the hole we were hiding in while shooting at us. I peed on my body out of fear of being killed.  Suddenly, I remembered Psalm 46:1. I believe it came in the nick of time. It says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble".
Immediately, I had to call on God to help and rescue us at that moment. Then I decided to put up my head to look how close they were to us. But my eyes were drawn to one of the soldiers afar off. 
He brought out a cigarette to smoke thinking they had won the battle. However, he didn't realize that there was a spill of fuel from the gallons of fuel packed somewhere beside thlong truck of fuel he leaned on. 
As he lit the cigarette, what happened next was a big explosion. I saw flesh of bodies flying in the air. The explosion killed 90% of the enemies and destroyed their tankers. The impact on them was massive. 
When I saw this, I immediately came out of the hole shooting at the others who were on the ground but not yet dead before they could recover. The other three soldiers joined me and that was how four of us survived the onslaught of our enemies. We eventually won the war. 
God showed up in the nick of time. He used the unlikely thing, "a cigarette" to rescue us and to give us a great victory. God showed up when we needed him the most. 
God can also deliver you at anytime using likely and unlikely means,  people and situations to deliver,  save, help and rescue you. 
He doesn't only bless and deliver through great, mighty means, people and sources. But He can also deliver and bless through the insignificant, useless, lazy,  poor,  illiterate and unlikely things and people.

FICTIONAL EXPRESSIONS: SPEAK TO PAPA

JUST THINKING:  

 

(Pronounce  PAPA in Spanish) 

I had spoken to several people, 

But nobody seemed to understand.

So, I decided to keep to myself.

The more I stayed away from people, the more I was hurting.

Pain has a way of twisting us inside.

But who do I talk to.

People see me but they assume.

They assume I am doing well

Because I have a good job, 

I have a good house and family,

My business is striving,

I have all money can afford,

And I am living the dream life in their eyes.

But I was dying inside.

There were regrets, secrets, unresolved issues and questions in my heart.

The secrets we keep have a way of crawling back to the surface.

I am scared of my past mistakes.

They may catch up with me one day

But no one could help me.

Then one day, he called me.

It was Alfred, my old neighbour.

"I have been watching you", he said. 

You look so happy outside but I can tell that you are disturbed.

He also said, "The wisdom of old age makes me see through people while seated".

"Speak to God, He is always listening" were his last words.

That night I decided to take his advice and I spoke with Him.

I poured out my heart while tears kept rolling down my face as I spoke

A presence filled my room which brought peace, joy and love to my heart.

My heart became light afterwards. 

And for the first, I slept like a baby that night.

Ever since then, I have been talking to Papa.

You call him God but I call Him Papa.

I have peace that passes all understanding because of Him.

Papa is always there to listen.

He will heal you, save and help you. 

He will not condemn you like men do. 

That is why he is called "PAPA"

THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS

JUST THINKING:

There have been so many plagues that have befallen mankind over the years.  One of them is the Bubonic plaque. The Bubonic Plague Was referred to as the BLACK DEATH. 
The plague was the cause of the Black Death that swept through Asia, Europe, and Africa in the 14th century and killed an estimated 50 million people.
But during the time of the plague, there was a Canadian American missionary named John G Lake. He was known as the faith healer. He taught the law of the Spirit life. He said that  faith belongs to the law of life and that it is very opposite of fear. 
According to him,  faith has the opposite effect in spirit, and soul, and body. It causes the spirit of man to become confident. It causes the mind of man to become restful, and positive. A positive mind repels disease. 
Consequently, the emanation of the Spirit destroys disease germs. He said that the knowledge of the law of life in Christ Jesus protects us. He emphasized that the law works.
Romans 8:2 NKJV says,  "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death".
In the cause of the BUBONIC plaque that killed so many people, John G Lake and his colleague ministered to the sick and also helped to bury people who had died from the virus. But he and his colleague never contracted the virus or plaque it. People wondered why. A doctor asked him what he was using to protect himself.

He said that it is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.  He said it protects and that If any germs, disease or plaque touches his body,  the law of the Spirit of life will kill it.  Hallelujah. To prove what he had preached,  he told a doctor, "You can fill my hand with them and I will keep it under the microscope, and instead of these germs remaining alive, they will die instantly." They tried it and found it was true.
The germs died and they questioned, "What is that?",  he replied, "That is 'the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.' When a man's spirit and a man's body are filled with the blessed presence of God, it oozes out of the pores of your flesh and kills the germs." Hallelujah. 
If the knowledge law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus could kill the Bubonic virus, it can also kill this corona virus. Not only this virus but all other sicknesses, diseases and plaques. 
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus can set you free from the law of sin and death.

FAITH AS EXPRESSED IN THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE

JUST THINKING:

At this point in time in human race,  we need to have faith in God and not in man, our government,  family,  health system, bank account and so on. What we only need to do is to have faith in you.
What is faith in God. Many definitions have been given to faith in God.  But let's look at the following statements to understand what faith in God means. 
Faith in God is confidence that God exists and that he is the rewarder of him who diligently seek him. 
Faith in God is the full persuasion about whatever God says,  that it is true,  it is real and it will come to pass as He has said it. 
Faith in God is the sensory mechanism that connects us to the realities of the invisible or spiritual realm. It sees the invisible, it hears the inaudible  and it touches the invisible 
Faith in God is a spiritual divine force that makes the invisible visible and makes the impossible  possible. 
John G Lake said that He said faith belongs to the law of life and that it is very opposite of fear. Faith has the opposite effect in spirit, and soul, and body.
Now seeing faith in God in the light of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus as stated in Romans 8:2 which says, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death".
It will go thus when you confess it over your life:
I have confidence that God exists and  He says in His word that the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.
I am fully persuaded that what God says is true, it is real and will come to pass as He has said it: that is, the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.
By the sensory mechanism of faith, I connect to the invisible or spiritual reality that the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.
By a spiritual divine force the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.

POETIC FLOW: SPEAK LIFE

JUST THINKING:

Any time he was with me,
My confidence level was high.
I would chin up and square my shoulders because of him
Who could defeat me when my dad was with me.
He was my hero,
And I was his child.
I never had fears because of him.
My Issues were fixed,
Because Daddy was always there.
Then one day, when I was being beaten,
He turned his face away.
I looked over to where my dad was.
Our eyes met and I thought he would come to my rescue as before.
But my Super Hero ignored me
He just walked away.
My best friend turned his back on me.
I was really disappointed.
At a time I needed him the most,
He just walked away.
I said that I would not talk to him again.
But he called me later on
And I ran to him
After all, he was still my dad.
He said it was time.
Yes, it was time i started fighting my battles
He can't keep fighting for me
And for the first time my mind was reset to factory settings.
I became a man after that experience
No more daddy's boy
But a full representation of him.
He told me he has equipped me
And I have what it takes to fight my battles
He said, " Your mouth is a very strong weapon".
According to him, "The mouth you have carries life and death,
And it is full of power".
Since then I have been speaking.
That is why I speak and I will continue to speak.
So, when I speak, life happens.
When I declare, power is released
This is how I change my world
This is how I use my inherent power
I speak life, love and peace instead of death
My world changes because of my mouth.
If I can, you can
Let's declare life and restoration over our world
The world may be in pain
But we are here to change it
We have a weapon that can defeat any thing
It is called the "tongue".
It is one of the best gifts we have.
God created and restructured the world with it
So, we all can do the same today.
Speak life and life will happen 
Speak change and things will change for good
Speak and you will have whatever you say.
