Some time ago, my colleagues aand I went out for marketing and the lady they met was disappointed from all indications that one of my colleagues was wearing a wedding ring and he was proud of being married. It is terrible that some men and women change their marital status when they have business opportunities, jobs, contracts, etc. An ex-colleague of mine once said that any time she is going for marketing calls, she removes her ring. I asked are why and she said that some men will not listen to you if they find out that you are married. This move is a strategy to win a client whereas people's marriages like that of that lady is in trouble if she continues like that. My opinion is that if a client will buy your product or services, he will whether you change your personality or not. If the client later finds out that you are married, he will never trust you again because the foundation of the business transaction was based on lies and falsehood. Guess what, you may end up loosing that customer or the customer seeing you as irresponsible.
Recently, I saw some thing on the internet that got me thinking. A well known musician said he is keeping his marital status a secret because it is bad for business. The woman who got married to this man is in trouble because the man prefers fame, business and money to his wife and marriage. What a world we are living in.
A happy man marries the woman he loves but a happier man loves the woman he marries. Akin 2014. Life is better when you are happy with your spouse. But life could be terrible when you are angry with your spouse. There is no body on earth that is angry with his or her spouse and still be living in peace or be happy. Wilson Ileogben
