Brethren,
The current of society's river is flowing fast and furious, pulling downward everything in its way. It would be easy to float along with the current. But God calls us to swim against the flow. It will not be easy, and we may be alone, but it will be right.

Beloved, in a unifying work with an extensive genealogy, the Bible traces for us the roots of THE NATION in a literary family reunion from Adam onward, recounting its royal line and the loving PLAN of a personal God. We read the Bible and gain a glimpse of God at work through His people for generations. As believers, these people are our ancestors, and their history is ours too.
After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, God's pronouncement in Genesis 3:15 which He formally consented to with the killing of the animal whose skin He used in making tunics (covering) for Adam and Eve, was unleashed on the earth. This grand PLAN of God to REDEEM man and creation was what propelled God to enter into alliances (covenants) with certain men, nation, tribe and a household, in different generations.
Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters but out of them all, only three (Cain, Abel and Seth) were relevant to and mentioned in God's 'PLAN'. Noah was not the only son of Lamech but in God's decision to destroy the then known wicked world, He found Noah, a perfect man in his generation, and through Noah, mankind, the animal kingdom and God's Word in Gen 3:15 were preserved. Abraham had many children but "My covenant" was with Isaac. There were many nations on the earth but God transformed a man (Jacob) into a nation (Israel). We can go on and on like that.
Having said all of that, child of God, God still has projects that He wants to execute here on earth and His eyes are running to and fro the earth looking for men whose hearts are LOYAL to Him to establish "My covenant" (don't forget, this "My covenant" is everlasting, it didn't stop with the Patriarchs, it continues) with. Can He find us?
Brethren, the events of our history with God is still unfolding and sadly, some of us are still ignorant when we ought to be the epicentre of these events as they unfold. And unknown to some of us, being at the focal point of what God is doing is the way to our ultimate destination (becoming the Christ-man).
BE BLESSED!!!
