What kind Of Tablet Are You using?

My tablet got destroyed recently. I felt really bad about it because It has been a great tool for me in to making calls, surfing the internet, sending and receiving mails, social networking and so on. However, I still feel I am limited with and by it. I can get any piece of information in a twinkle of an eye with it. Thanks to the internet and all the gadgets.

Man has given us tablets, phablets, phones, laptops and the internet and with it we can get any information we need on the internet. But is that really true? We all know that the world has become a global village but man is still not satisfied. He still feels that there is more to life than what he has achieved and the information he has and has access to. Hence he keeps working, seeking information by using his tablet on the go. But he is still not satisfied. Within him, he feels that there is more to him and he is more than what he is today.  He sees different types of product like ipad, samsung tablets, nokia lumia, Black berry phones and many more and he goes for them. After some time, he gets tired of them and throws them away. While some we go any extent just to lay their hands to have a tablet. They too will soon discover that it does not bring joy or happiness and in some cases, it siphons the little strength left in them and leaves them dry and empty. All these gadgets still do not satisfy our longings because we still feel there is more to life and us that we can't fathom yet. However, we have a tool that has been given to us that gives answers to the longings and questions in our hearts but we are looking for the answers in the wrong places.               

Man gave us tablets that can give you access to information but God gave us his tablet with information about our past, present and future. Tablets have been in existence for a long time but man has always prefer what gives him pleasure instead of what tells him who he is and where he is going. The tablet man gives you needs power to make it work but God's tablet given to us does not need power to make it work. It just needs you to pick it up and read it.

Exodus 24:12 says, " The LORD said to Moses, "Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction."
God's tablets contain information, laws, commandments, instructions and so on. It gives you insights into God’s mind for your life and future. You will never get tired of it and its battery does not go off.

2 Timothy 3 : 16 says, “16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”.

Also, Joshua 1:8 says, “8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

One major achievement with God’s tablet is that it was translated into a book called “The Bible”. For many years, people read different translations of the tablet (bible) from the book directly. But in our generation, software, applications and gargets of the bible have been developed for phones, computers and tablets but we are not still reading it. We walk around with our phones that have Bibles but we will not open the bible on the tablets and phones to read and do research. Instead we will open twitter, facebook, google+ and so on. This shows that tablets and phones are not the problem but us. We are looking for satisfaction in the wrong places where as the only satisfaction we can get can be revealed to us via God’s tablet (the Bible) both soft and hard copies.
