THE DOVE'S EYES

JUST THINKING:

Make your passion your profession and don't allow fear to inhibit you from chasing your passion because if you don't, you will end up regretting it. If you have a cause or a thing that you are passionate about but you are not focused on it, then you do not really believe in it. If you can't focus on your passion but have become envious of other people's passion, purpose and cause, you are competing with them instead of competing with yourself.
Furthermore, if your focus is on other people's passion instead of yours, it means that you do not have the dove's eyes. If you wish you had what they have or you wish you were like them, then you need to learn from the dove or have the dove's eyes.
The dove can't move its eye balls like humans can. It focuses on one thing at a time; it will need to move its entire head to look at another thing, object or direction. It is committed to one mate in its entire life. It stays with with its mate for life until the mate dies.
Song of Solomon 1: 15 says, "Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold, you are fair! You have dove’s eyes".
Song of Solomon 5:12 says, "His eyes are like doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set".
Having the dove's eyes means being committed and focused on a relationship, a cause, one thing and not having the ability nor interest to look at another. It also means undistracted focus or devotion to a cause of action, a person and so on.
The dove has a binocular visual field meaning that it is able to only put attention on one thing at a time. Someone said, "when a dove fixes its gaze upon its mate, it is not distracted by any activities around it. Therefore, it is often referred to as being a "Love Bird".
The dove's eyes or a binocular vision is focusing on one thing and one thing only like a love bird paying attention to the first love only. So, to have the dove's eyes, you have to be focused on your vision, passion, purpose and so on. That is what it means to have the dove's eyes.
However, some of us despise who we are and what we are doing because we compare the "big or gigantic" work others are doing with ours. If you are not focused on your job, other people's work and job become bigger, more attractive and better in your eyes. But if you are focused on yours alone, you will grow in it and appreciate it no matter the size of it. Your passion and vision have the capacity to grow and become the envy of the whole world if only you can be focused on it and put all at your disposal, your energy, skills and mind to it.
