BECOMING A VOICE

There is a foreign musical competition  named THE VOICE that my wife and I like watching every saturday and Sunday on TV. This competition is similar to Project Fame West Africa and Nigerian Idol but it is out of this world musically. The contestants' voices are unique and no one sings like any other person no matter how much they try. This shows that every body's voice is unique and different on earth.

If our voices are different, then why are we jealous of others? Your voice is your identity.People are identified by the way they walk, dress, their voice, etc.Your voice could be your accent, the way you talk, sound uttered by your mouth, language, speech, word, YOU(your personality) and work. My pastor once preached a message titled, "Finding your voice". You need to find your voice wherever you are in life eg your office, school and any where. The disciples of John the Baptist came to him ( John 3:26-30)and said that Jesus christ was baptizing at the other end. His response was: (27 A person can receive only what is given them from heaven. 28 You yourselves can testify that I said, I am not the Messiah but am sent ahead of him. 29 The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's VOICE. That joy is mine, and it is now complete).  Jesus was in a different location and John said he had complete joy hearing Jesus' voice. The VOICE John was talking about is the work(preaching and baptizing) Jesus was doing.

You need to find your voice in this life. If you find and manifest  your voice(work, ministry, purpose), people will look for and come to you whether you are in the desert like John the Baptist or not. In your voice, your provisions will find you. So, stop being jealous of and competing with others because you and your voice are unique. Remember, the whole world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
