WORKING ON THE SIN THAT EASILY ENTANGLES US

Money is an important aspect in our lives and It is used in running day to day activities. If you have it, you can buy whatever you want to buy, do whatever you want to do and go wherever you want to go. Every body works and do businesses to make money. Some others steal, cheat, do all sorts of things to get money and others sell their souls, family, integrity to make money. No wonder people  quote 1Tim 6:10 that the love of money is the root of all evil. I love the way the NIV translation puts it :(For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs). 

This translation says that the love of money is "A ROOT" of all kinds of evil. So, that means there are other roots of evil. This does not mean that we all do not like money but there are some who can do any thing even selling their souls and killing to make money. For David and Solomon, the love for women was the root of all kinds of evil(Read Deut.17:17). 

st imagine a man having 700 wives and 300 concubines. For king Uzziah, it was pride. 2 chro 26:16 says that pride brought his downfall. Now,what is that sin, weight or thing that easily entangles, besets and hinders you? The earlier, the better. Work on it now before it destroys and takes you to hell. The bible says that if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die. 

You can overcome that thing today because God has given you the grace to say "NO" to sin, ungodliness, worldly passions and to live self controlled,upright and godly lives in this age(Titus 2:11&12). You and I can live above sin, bad habits and attitude today if we can accept the grace(ability) God has given us to overcome sin. (Heb 12:1-2, Rom 8: 12&13)
