WORKING ON YOUR CREATIVITY

Any time I see new cars, long bridges, houses and I hear good songs and their instrumentals, I wonder how people come about these things and ideas and how they were able to put their imagination, ideas and thoughts together  to create those wonders. 

God used his words and creative ability to create the heavens, the earth and every thing in them. When God created man, his creative nature was deposited in him. We all have creative abilities in us because we were created in the image and likeness of God. There is no one on earth who does not have a creative ability in them. Some people have unearthed theirs while others don't know that they have it. 

This ability was put to use by Adam when God brought all the animals to him to see what he would name them. Gen 2:19 says: (19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found). 

Adam named thousands of animals without making mistake of giving a name to two different animals. Also, this creative ability made Adam and Eve sew leaves for covering when they found out they were naked in Gen 3:7. Who told them that they should use leaves to cover their nakedness? It was that instinct of the creative ability in them.  

Recently, a friend chatted me up that he has worked on a song I wrote back in school. I was very happy and it reminded me of the songs and poems I wrote back in school. However, this ability went dormant because I didn't tend to it. But lately, it has started coming forth; hence the messages I have been sending. Let's fan those gifts, talents and skills God has put in us. Yours could be singing, composing of songs, writing of books, business ideas, creating concepts, planning, managing and organising things and people.

Whatever creative ability you have, fan It. If you think you have lost it, ask God for mercies and trust him for restoration. It gives you an edge over others in your various fields, businesses, careers,etc. Don't kill or allow others to kill that creative ability in you. It is God's gift to you to succeed on earth.
