JUST THINKING:
I would say that I am really surprised what this generation is doing and how far they are taking show off to. Nowadays people seem to be obsessed with showing off their lives on social media so the whole world will know they live a perfect, happy life. They show off what they have and even what they give to people. They want to be known and seen as liberal people or givers. But they are making a big mistake. They also carry this act on their loved ones, families, friends and so on.
Just imagine when your father bought you clothes and gifts for Christmas and he brought it to social media to show off that he bought you clothes. Unlike them, this is what we do.
We have taken show off to a new level that we don't know that we ridicule ourselves, our parents, our families and other people by showing off whatever we give them on social media. Why would a person show off the house, car, clothes and other things he gives to his parents and others on social media ?
If you do not have regards for other people, please have for your parents. If they didn't show off the school fees (tuition) they paid for you and the other things they gave you on social media while you were growing up , then why do you do it to them any time you give them things? Who are you deceiving? Let your giving, generosity and love be done in the secret and God will be the one to bless you openly.
