Be Prepared.

When I gained admission into the university, I knew I was going for a 4 year course. I knew I would spend four years for that course. However, I spent more than 4 years because of one issue or the other like strike in school. This affected me and others a great deal.
Time is very important and in life and most things are attached to time. Projects, education, competitions, etc are all time based. There is always a beginning and an end to all things except marriage when one of the couple dies. The only thing that can end marriage is death. God is not in support of divorce, so, it should not come as what will end a marriage. When one of the couple dies, that marriage covenant ends and the other person has the right to remarry.

Ecc 3:1-8 says(1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace).

My dad died at 80 years in 2014. When I saw his corpse, I realised that he had spent the number of days God had ordained for him to live. It made me also realise that it will be my turn one day.
 Psalm 139:16 says ( You saw my body as it was formed. All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old).

 There is a number of days set for every one. The days left for some people could be 50, 25, 10, 5 years, while others could be 7, 3, 2 days and others just 7hours or 30 minutes. Whether years, days or hours that are left for us, we all should be prepared. Some people prepare by saving, investing in real estates, buying life insurance to cover their family after they have left. Those things are very good,  but if they are not saved by giving their lives to Jesus Christ and accepting him as their personal Lord and Saviour and also living according to his ways and standard, their insurance policy will not insure them in hell. Hell and heaven are real. So, to live is Christ and die is gain. If you die today, where will you spend eternity?  Wilson Ileogben.
