You Are Only Secure In Christ.

There are so many ways people plan for and secure their future. They invest in education, real estates, in their children, investments, buying insurance and so on. People also try as much as possible to protect their lives by buying guns, weapons, having security and both guard, building high fences and walls over their houses, buying alarms and other gadgets. All theses items of equipment are very good but they have limitations.

However, I have seen people who invested in shares, stocks, real estate and so on cry because they invested wrongly and because of the global economy issues. I have also read, heard and seen people  and nations with the best army in the world, all the body guards, high fences, alarm systems, guns, weapons, all the security gadgets attacked, robbed, killed, stolen from, kidnapped, etc. This calls for serious concern because all these things were meant to enhance security but they have failed. This shows and reveals that God is the only one who can truly protect and secure your life.

Many people put their trust in what they have and their investment. Some will do anything and everything to secure their future. They judge themselves by what they have acquired. But  Luke 12: 15 says, " And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions (ESV)". A man's value can easily be judged by what he has but the above scripture says otherwise.

Also, Pro 23:5 says, " Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven (KJV)". If you put your trust in your wealth, the Bible says they can develop wings and fly. They are not certain and Issues and circumstances can come to take away the wealth and riches one has accumulated over the years.

Pro 27: 24 says, "For riches do not last forever; and does a crown endure to all generations (ESV)".
Pro 11:4 also says, " Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath or death, but righteousness delivers from death". This shows that riches cannot really save one except God by living righteously. Some even buy insurance policy to protect themselves and their families, so that their families will be covered when they die. Life policy can only cover you on earth but not in hell. Also, insurance does not fully mitigate against all loses in life.

Many people are more concerned about their earthly cover and security other than their eternal security. The Bible says we are hidden in Christ in God. If you are hidden in Christ in God, nothing can harm you. No weapon formed against you will prosper. You will be protected from stray bullets and arrows. No wonder the bible says in Pro 91:1 that,  "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (KJV)". Only in Christ can you be secured and protected fully.

Many people who have invested in securing their lives, properties and investments, have been disappointed by the means of security and protection they are using. If you want perfect security, try God.

Psalm 127:1 says, " Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. ( ESV)". So, you need to seek Jesus and his righteousness and all  the security and protection will be added to you.
