The Truth Always Pays.

The truth will always set you free. If you live by and make the truth your standard, you will build a legacy of integrity in your life time.
Some time ago, I told a lie to my wifebecause I wanted to avoid a quarrel. But when she later discovered that I lied to her, she was angry and she said" if you had told me the truth that day, I would have been angry because of what you did but telling me a lie also got me pissed off. Why not tell the truth instead." I lost her trust because of the lie I told her. I learnt a big lesson that day.
The truth will always set you free no matter the pressure. It will make people trust you at all times. You will have peace of mind. Some one once said if you told the truth, you will not forget what you said earlier on when talking about it again.
 Also, the truth will take you to heaven because the Bible says all liars will go to hell. I know telling the truth in our day is not easy because of sin, the flesh and pressure, but the truth can be a defence to you. Although telling the truth can put you in trouble, make you lose jobs, contracts, friends, don't worry just keep telling the truth because one day, it will stand and fight for you.
Also, men will run to you for help and they will confide in you as well as entrust things to you when they know that you will always tell the truth. Don't stop telling the truth because it pays at the end. We can all win by righteousness.
