The Power Of Having Interest.

In every thing in life, if there is no "INTEREST", no giant stride will be taken. Interest is what makes the difference between great and mediocre people. It is so interesting that in a company, someone comes very early, dedicates himself to the job and others will call him workaholic or they will that he is working as if his father owned the company.

What makes him punctual and dedicated to the job is the interest he has in the job in spite of the working conditions, salary and distance. In our day, people run from one company to another majorly because of the pay. While others  move because of career, working environment and the interest.
 Many of us will stop giving our best and stop going to work early when we find out that the pay is no longer enough and when we have lost interest in the job. While a few will stay in spite of the management's attitude, salary being slashed and the negative change in the working environment. This few people will be seen as foolish and short-sighted because of their dedication to the job. They will be insulted and mocked at but if they persist, it will pay off in the long run.
Others will only be interested in what they can get from the company like the salary and other benefits. If they perceive that the company can't pay any more, they will live almost immediately. Yes, a labourer deserves his pay, but in the end if he is only interested in the pay, he will become a half baked professional. No wonder we have a lot of mediocre people in companies and in our societies instead of professionals.
A man who has interest in what he is doing will never be distracted or discouraged and he will get better and grow faster on the job and career more than others who are just interested in money in a normal setting. However, this is not always the case in some companies because others get promoted faster than the ones who are dedicated to the job because of politics. It is called politics at work place. But don't give up if this happens to you because your dedication and interest in the job will pay off one day.
 The above illustrations are applicable to all areas of life. Luke 12:34 says, (for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also). Ecc 9: 10 says, (10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going).
If you are interested in your job, business, ministry and marriage, nothing will sway you if hell is let loosed. You will give every thing to it to see that your marriage and business work. Nothing will distract and discourage you no matter what you see at the other side of the fence. If you hold on because of interest, you, your marriage, job and business will become better and stronger and no other trial you face will deter you no matter what. If you are dragging your feet towards that job or relationship because of challenges, you had better change your mindset and work on your interest level towards it because every venture and relationship has issues and challenges. The grace of God and your interest in your job, business, relationship, etc, will make you stand and overcome at the end of the day. Wilson Ileogben
